Matt Groening, the man behind The Simpsons and Futurama, may just bring his influential brand of animated comedy to the world of streaming TV. Variety reports that Groening is in talks to make an animated series for Netflix. Groening’s project would join the likes of BoJack Horseman and F Is for Family on the site, though the details of his pitch are being kept secret. The streaming service is considering ordering two seasons of the series with ten episodes apiece, because if anything is a sure bet, it’s an animated series from Matt Groening.
Groening previously sold series to Brockway, Ogdenville, and North Haverbrook.
