Nine hundred marbles, a bag of white goose feathers, a giant wind machine, a superstrong magnet, some sort of shunt or chest tube: Pee-wee Herman is determined to get back into your heart, and he will not rest until he has built the perfect whimsical contraption to do it. Paul Reubens’s most wondrous creation will make his comeback March 18 with the release of Netflix’s Pee-wee’s Big Holiday movie. From the looks of things, the film will be 90 minutes of Pee-wee making a single peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich in the wackiest goddamn way possible.
