Chris Rock Interviewed Black Moviegoers in Compton About Oscar-Nominated Films

One of Chris Rock’s favorite bits is to ask regular moviegoers for their thoughts on the most celebrated movies of the year. (He did this when he hosted the Oscars the first time around, and also at the BET Awards, when he interviewed white people about black films.) So for 2016’s #OscarsSoWhite, Rock went to Compton to hear what black moviegoers thought about critically acclaimed white-people films like Trumbo, Brooklyn, and The Big Short. Short answer: Not so much.
