Here’s Your First Look at Disneyland’s New Star Wars Experience

Dreams of new Star Wars rides are steadily becoming realities. And during a Sunday night special honoring Disney’s first theme park, viewers got their first glimpse of the updated attractions. “Star Wars is, for lack of a better word, awesome,” said Harrison Ford, who introduced a concept teaser as part of the Disneyland 60 celebration. “I’m so blessed that I had the opportunity to be a part of it, and walk in these iconic locations. And soon, you’ll be able to do that as well — not in a galaxy far, far away, but in a place close to home.”

The Star Wars Experience will hit both the Anaheim and Orlando parks, but their logistical timelines have yet to be released. Temper your impatience in the meantime by rolling the above clip to see what it’ll be like to helm Force Awakens–inspired Millennium Falcon missions and to revel in the cantina. (You’ll also get a look at Star Wars: Live in Concert and, of course, a little BB-8.)
