The ladies of Litchfield have a lot more time to serve: Netflix has renewed Orange Is the New Black for three more seasons. Yes, three! The show’s fourth season doesn’t debut until June 17, but your favorite criminals are already guaranteed to be back behind bars for seasons five, six, and seven. Better yet: Their warden will be right there with them. The renewal also includes a deal for the show’s creator, Jenji Kohan, to remain as showrunner for all three subsequent seasons. “Three more years! Not quite a political term, but still plenty of time to do some interesting things. In some cultures, ‘May you lead an interesting life,’ is a curse, but I don’t live in those cultures,” Kohan said in statement. Time to start placing bets on which inmates get released first!
