Actor Tony Burton, Best Known As Rocky Trainer Duke, Dies at 78

Tony Burton, best known as Rocky’s trainer Tony “Duke” Evers in the Rocky franchise, has died at 78. On Thursday night, Burton’s co-star Carl Weathers tweeted the news, which the actor’s sister Loretta Kelley confirmed. In addition to roles in The Shining, The Toy, and Assault on Precinct 13, Burton was himself a pro boxer and two-time Flint Golden Globes light-heavyweight boxing champion.
