Showtime just added a new comedy project to its slate. Variety reports that the network has given a pilot order to Mating, a half-hour anthology comedy series produced by Friday Night Lights’ Jason Katims and written by The Americans’ Stu Zicherman. The series will “explore modern dating and relationships, with each potential season exploring a different protagonist’s journey.” If the pilot is ordered to series, it will follow “a recently divorced guy who tries to evolve and connect one date at a time.”
