In this week’s edition of Live Collaborations That Are Truly Excellent, David Byrne and Arcade Fire (well, three of its members — Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, and Richard Reed Parry) came together Friday evening to perform some Talking Heads songs at the Montreal Society for Arts and Technology’s benefit concert for KANPE KANAVAL. The crooned. They grooved. They played various instruments. One of them wore a fedora. It was grand.
