Louis C.K., novelist Jonathan Franzen, and Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner are just some of the quotable notables going head-to-head on Jeopardy for the show’s Power Players week. The tournament, which is set to air in May, is kind of like Celebrity Jeopardy, except with questions that are more difficult than stupid easy. Additional competitors include Melissa Harris-Perry, Anderson Cooper, Al Franken, David Gregory, Lara Logan, and Chuck Todd, among others. Each of the public faces participating is doing so for the sake of their chosen charity; Franzen’s charity is the American Bird Conservancy, because birds are having kind of a highbrow moment right now. The specific matchups have not been announced, but it’ll be riveting to discover who between C.K., Franzen, and Weiner is the most prestigious.  Comparing this news to the Jeopardy sketches on Saturday Night Live — what is an obvious joke.
