Birdman Walked Out of His Breakfast Club Interview Because He Didn’t Get Enough ‘Respek’

Birdman — part-time Cash Money daddy, full-time living meme — would like just a little bit of R-E-S-P-E-K when you invite him on your morning radio show. Or so was the lesson he attempted to teach Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club on Friday morning. Normally, Angela Yee, DJ Envy, and the internet’s favorite troll, Charlamagne Tha God, allow their guests to yammer on as long as 45 minutes. Lucky for them, Birdman only needed about 90 seconds to gently get his point across: “Put some respek on my name” or things might have to get gangsta. He probably would’ve kept the temper tantrum up for a few more minutes, but with the king of no chill in the room, that was never meant to be.

“Did you pull up on [Rick] Ross that way, or Trick Daddy?” Charlamagne asked with a straight face; someone please induct the man into the Petty Hall of Fame. (For some context: Birdman’s feathers are likely ruffled because of a Breakfast Club interview with Trick Daddy last year in which the rapper accused Birdman of being fake, among other things.) Five seconds later, the sunglasses came on and Birdman left the studio with his entourage (read: goons). Prepare for the memes.
