Ellie Kemper appeared as a guest on last night’s Tonight Show to promote the new season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt that premieres tomorrow, but the show was overshadowed by a much bigger news item: Kemper and her equally funny husband Michael Koman are now expecting their first child. To celebrate, Fallon hands Kemper a pint of his signature Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and Kemper explains how her pregnancy only became an issue on the Unbreakable set near the end when she forgot to keep up with her “back injury” excuse: “It was terrible. I think everyone saw right through it.”
