Ewan McGregor has the briefest of cameos in The Force Awakens, in which he says something in voice-over — for the life of him, McGregor can’t remember what it is. In fact, it seems that Ewan McGregor can’t remember much about The Force Awakens at all. Did he even see the movie? Did he watch the prequels? According to J.J. Abrams, McGregor was “incredibly sweet and handsome” when he showed up for his recording session, “then he rode off on his motorcycle.” So yes, he has very much moved on from playing Obi-Wan.
