The age of cinematic universes is at hand: We cannot stop them, we cannot resist them, we can only live with them. From Slashfilm comes news of the latest Hollywood endeavor to choke all thoughts of a better world from our brains: a forthcoming Hanna-Barbera cinematic universe, launching with a Scooby-Doo reboot called S.C.O.O.B., coming in 2018. That film is expected to be followed by reboots of various Hanna-Barbera properties that may include Yogi Bear, The Flintstonesand The Jetsons, which will somehow all be connected. If you say the vagaries of time and space would make that impossible, well, it has been done before. Still, we think we speak for dogs everywhere when we say, “Rhis is a rerrible ridea, Raggy.”
