Axl Rose’s ascent to AC/DC’s new lead singer has been swift, especially in light of Brian Johnson being unexpectedly forced step down due to severe hearing issues. (A move that angered some fans in terms of its execution: a brief announcement on the band’s website.) But now the past is the past, and Rose joined the Aussie rockers for his first official concert in Lisbon last night. All of the classics you’d expect were performed — including “Back in Black” and “Thunderstruck” — which Rose rocked out to in a comfy chair because of his broken foot. Angus Young couldn’t get him in a matching schoolboy outfit, unfortunately.
