SNL’s Cecily Strong just landed a big movie role. According to Deadline, Strong has signed on to star in the upcoming film directed by The Overnight’s Patrice Brice called Plus One, which centers on Jessica Chastain as “a single woman who realizes she has limited choices in girlfriends who can join her on the singles’ scene because all of her close friends are married or about to be.” She ends up finding an “unlikely wingman” in Strong’s character, who is described as a “loud, sexually uninhibited livewire” and totally not a one-dimensional female character from a male driven comedy.
