Sure, Lauren Graham is busy with Gilmore Girls production, but she’s not too busy to crash an Ellen taping. (Fortunately, the two shows shoot across the street from each other.) The actress surprised DeGeneres on Thursday to promote her upcoming Stars Hollow return, as well as her new book, I’m Talking As Fast As I Can! “I love [Lorelei] so much,” Graham said when asked about Gilmore. “And I have the same feeling I had when I first opened that script, which was just such a deep connection.” Officially titled Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, Amy Sherman-Palladino’s continuation (f.k.a. Seasons) will unspool on Netflix as four 90-minute installments: “Winter,” “Spring,” “Summer,” and “Fall.” Here’s Graham:

The actress’s full Ellen appearance airs May 23 — in an episode that also features Blake Shelton and Drew Carey. The revival, almost done, is expected to arrive sometime before Christmas:
