Mike Birbiglia is taking his new film on a multi-city tour. According to Deadline, Birbiglia’s movie Don’t Think Twice will premiere in New York on July 22nd after a 20-city “Improv Across America” bus tour in June, where Birbiglia will screen the film and host free improv workshops. Birbiglia stars in the film alongside Keegan-Michael Key, Gillian Jacobs, Chris Gethard, Kate Micucci, and Tami Sagher as “an improv troupe made up of all best pals that loses the lease on its home theater just as one of its members gets chosen for the biggest sketch-comedy show on TV.” Don’t Think Twice made its world premiere at SXSW in March, and The Hollywood Reporter praised it as a “a love letter to this weirdo art form called improv.”
