Paul F. Tompkins Plays Famous Buzzkill Edgar Allan Poe on Dan Harmon’s ‘Great Minds’

Here’s the latest episode of Dan Harmon’s History channel series Great Minds where, despite Harmon’s hopes for a full series order from the network, Spencer brings back famous poet and eternal downer Edgar Allan Poe (Paul F. Tompkins). When Harmon discovers that the History channel exec (Mary Lynn Rajskub) who holds the future of Great Minds in her hands is actually a huge Poe fan, he tries his best to use Poe to get a series order out of her, but sadly he disintegrates before the plan comes together. “Has anybody seen a drunk bipolar magician with pale skin and an overwrought style?” Check out more episodes of Great Minds here.
