Here’s a clip from Samantha Bee’s visit to last night’s Conan, where the two chat about her new show Full Frontal and why, unlike every other late night show, she decided to go deskless. “When we were putting the show together, I knew that we couldn’t have a desk because there’s a lot of desks and it didn’t feel right for us to have that,” she says. “But also I knew that if I gave myself something to retreat behind, I would either just hide behind it, or all the energy that I put into the show would just end up in my face, and then I would just make crazy lunatic faces the entire time.” Watch some more clips from the interview below:
