Adele joined the sea of remembrances and dedications for the victims of the Orlando gay nightclub shooting last night while performing in Antwerp, Belgium. “I’d like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando at Pulse nightclub. The LGBTQ community, they’re like my soulmates since I was really young so I’m really moved by it,” Adele said, beginning to cry. Fighting back tears, she joked, “I don’t know why I’m crying already, because most of tonight is pretty miserable, because my songs are fucking miserable.” As if an Adele concert wasn’t one of the few places where it’s appropriate to cry whenever you need to.
