The Onion’s newest parody site says goodbye today. According to editor Sean O’Neal, StarWipe – which launched back in September – will be no more:
It’s sad to see StarWipe gone after less than a year, but it’s struggled to find a voice and readers over the last several months compared to The Onion and the Buzzfeed parody site ClickHole, which has been running strong since its launch in 2014. So long, StarWipe.
