Wilmer Valderrama is joining NCIS for its 14th season. Valderrama will be a series regular on the CBS procedural, playing “a once grounded NCIS field agent who accepted a deep cover assignment years ago and never resurfaced.” He reappears as a changed man, so zip up your windbreakers, because “his dedication to job and country has left him an unpredictable, charismatic loose cannon.” Valderrama’s addition to the long-running hit comes as the show embarks on its first season without Michael Weatherly. One big departure followed by another unexpected return? NCIS isn’t the nation’s most popular drama for nothing.
