It’s possible that you thought you already knew Brie Larson was tapped to take on the role of Captain Marvel. Well, you were wrong. Or — technically you were right. But also technically you were wrong, because the long-rumored casting wasn’t official until Marvel’s Comic-Con panel tonight, when the world learned what it already knew: that Larson will become Marvel’s first female title character in Captain Marvel, which is set for release in March 2019.
