Not every song of summer has to be everyone’s song of summer. Sometimes it’s nice to have a song of summer of one’s own. There was a 13-year gap between the release of 1991’s Trompe Le Monde and 2014’s Indie Cindy, but now, two years later, the Pixies have announced their latest album Head Carrier is due out from Pixiesmusic/Play It Again Sam on September 30. You can jam out to their new single “Um Chagga Lagga” below. Alternately, it would be the perfect song to claim as your song of summer while secretly playing “M.I.L.F.$.” on repeat.
