After being driven from Twitter by a wave of racist abuse earlier this week, Leslie Jones is back. On Monday night, the Ghostbusters star was the target of trolls egged on by alt-right gadfly Milo Yiannopoulos, an attack that spurred a discussion of Twitter’s ineffective response to online harassment and eventually led to Yiannopoulos being banned from the service permanently. That was apparently enough for Jones, who made a triumphant return to Twitter Thursday afternoon. In this one very specific case, Twitter harassment has a happy — or at least, not 100 percent horrifying — ending.
