Watch the O.D.B.-ified Luke Cage Teaser

Until now, Marvel’s Netflix offerings, however gritty they may be, have held a strict “no f-word” rule. Luckily, Ol’ Dirty Bastard has come back from the grave to break it. The first teaser trailer for Marvel’s Luke Cage just dropped after debuting at San Diego Comic-Con, and it’s soundtracked by the late Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” including the famed “fuck you; can’t even sing” sample that begins it. Watch above, but only if you aren’t offended by violence inflicted on car doors and/or hoodies.

Marvel also dropped a very brief, and mostly wordless, teaser for 2017’s long-awaited team-up series, The Defenders. The video, like the show, brings together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and the upcoming Iron Fist, all to the strains of Nirvana’s “Come As You Are,” for some reason. It ends with the voice of Daredevil’s demented mentor, Stick (always played with aplomb by Scott Glenn) asking, “You think the four of you can save New York? You can’t even save yourselves.”
