David Bowie’s The Man Who Fell to Earth Plummets Back Into Theaters for Its 40th Anniversary

To celebrate the film’s 40th anniversary, Nicolas Roeg’s The Man Who Fell to Earth is returning to the big screen. A 4K restoration of the film will debut first across England on September 9, with future premieres forthcoming in Germany and the U.S. David Bowie stars in the 1976 sci-fi flick as Thomas Jerome Newton, a humanoid alien who journeys to Earth on a mission to harvest water for his drought-stricken planet. The Man Who Fell to Earth will also be released on DVD and Blu-ray in the U.K. on October 10.
