Here’s a clip from Melissa McCarthy’s visit to last night’s Conan, where she looks back on her very Irish Catholic upbringing and admits that her parents kept her so sheltered that she didn’t know what sex was in time to avoid getting completely humiliated by her friends at a slumber party. “I think everybody knew I was being pretty strange, and I said ‘Well it doesn’t matter, my parents don’t do that anyway. They’ve never done it,’” she says. “My theory was – and I made a big proclamation – I said ‘I know they’ve never done it because I know for a fact my dad can’t do the Chinese splits.’” Watch some more clips from the interview below:
