Broadway went first, and now a gaggle of pop stars have released a song to honor those lost during the tragedy at the Pulse gay club in Orlando. Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, Adam Lambert, and RuPaul are just some of the 24 artists featured on “Hands,” a track conceived by songwriter Justin Tranter (he co-wrote Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”). The song is an Interscope Records effort, receiving support from GLAAD, and the proceeds will go to providing the victims and their families with medical care and counseling, as well as towards funding education. The full catalog of artists featured on the track is: Mary J. Blige, Jason Derulo, Britney Spears, Tyler Glenn, Selena Gomez, Halsey, Ty Herndon, Imagine Dragons, Juanes, Adam Lambert, Mary Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, the Trans Chorus of Los Angeles, Kacey Musgraves, MNEK, Alex Newell, P!nk, Prince Royce, Nate Ruess, RuPaul, Troye Sivan, Jussie Smollett, Gwen Stefani, and Meghan Trainor.
