Brett Gelman just landed a starring film role. According to Variety, Gelman will star alongside Judy Greer and Michael Cera in Lemon, which centers on Gelman as “an out-of-work actor who tries to stop his life from unraveling after he’s dumped by his blind girlfriend (Greer).” The film will be the feature directorial debut of Janicza Bravo, who co-wrote the script with Gelman. Nia Long, Fred Melamed, Shiri Appleby, Rhea Perlman, David Paymer, Gillian Jacobs, Megan Mullally, Martin Starr, Jeff Garlin, and Marla Gibbs round out the cast of the film, which just wrapped shooting in Los Angeles.
