HBO just confirmed a round of new standup specials from Jerrod Carmichael, T.J. Miller, Pete Holmes, and Russell Simmons’s All Def Comedy. Carmichael’s second HBO special will tape sometime this fall (he made his HBO debut in 2014 with Love at The Store), Miller’s special Meticulously Ridiculous will tape in Denver next month, Holmes’s special Faces and Sounds was taped in Chicago in April, and All Def Comedy tapes in Los Angeles on September 7th featuring host Tony Rock. All four specials will debut on the network sometime next year. Holmes’s new show Crashing is also set to premiere on HBO in 2017.
