Kanye’s new music video “Fade” — and its incredibly fit star, Teyana Taylor — may have been a highlight of Sunday night’s VMAs, but James Corden can see the downside to Taylor’s mesmerizing dance routine. During Monday’s The Late Late Show, Corden superimposed himself in the video as the unseen typical gym member, who finds it hard to pump iron while a thin layer of shiny baby oil splashes from Taylor’s gyrating body directly onto his face. Maybe in the inevitable Flashdance reboot the music video inspires, Corden can play welder-by-day/dancer-by-night Taylor’s good-natured foreman who simply wishes the company fitness center wasn’t always quite so provocative.
