The mythical King Arthur is the latest cultural figure to get the police-procedural reboot: THR reports that Fox is developing a modern-day adaptation of the Arthurian legends called Camelot, which will turn the mythical Briton Arthur, son of Uther Pendragon, into “a graffiti artist named Art.” As in the tales of old, this new Art will team up “with his best friend Lance and his ex, Gwen — an idealistic cop — in order to realize his destiny.” Later episodes of Camelot will presumably introduce Arthur’s eccentric science teacher Merle, a kindhearted beat cop named Gavin, and a magic spray-paint can called X-Caliber.
