The Lost Boys TV Series Is in the Works at the CW, in Case You Needed a Vampire Diaries Rebound

If you’re looking to the fill the hole in your heart that Vampire Diaries will soon leave behind, you should probably check out CW’s The Lost Boys, the latest vampire drama you never knew you needed. It’s an adaptation of the iconic 1987 thriller movie, and will come from Veronica Mars and iZombie creator Rob Thomas. The original film starred Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz, Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, and countless mullets. According to Deadline, the new TV series is envisioned for a seven-season run, and will tell a story spanning 70 years, each season covering a decade. Season one will be set in San Francisco in 1967, and in each season the humans, setting, antagonist, and story will all change, but the vampires, our Lost Boys, will remain the same.
