Well, if you’re President Obama, clearly you’re going to own it, but before he did, like any true American, he got in the mind-set by listening to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.” The sharp eyes at Billboard caught POTUS bopping back and forth to the 8 Mile anthem at the 58-second mark of the “behind-the-scenes” convention video Clinton’s campaign released. The moment is fleeting, but the clip is worth watching, not only for Obama’s unguarded enthusiasm for early aughts hip-hop, but also Meryl Streep’s delight in Clinton’s speech and Elizabeth Warren’s feminist moment with Sarah Silverman.
