Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe are going to be thrilled with this new (foul) take on virtual reality. Ubisoft, the French video-game developer, has announced a special virtual-reality mask that will “pump fart smells in gamers’ nostrils” while playing the new game South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Dubbed Nosolus Rift (hee-hee), the immersive system won’t be available for public sale, as it was specifically designed for use at live gaming events around the world. The Fractured But Whole, though, will be on the market beginning December 6; the role-playing game “casts players as the gassy new kid in town and lampoons superhero culture.” Because not all heroes wear capes, but they do indeed utilize their ass powers to fart.
