Since The Stranger Things debuted on Netflix, it’s given us a lot: ’80s-mom Winona Ryder; our favorite normcore hero, Barb; and the full-blown heebie-jeebies. During a press event for the supernatural series, the creators and young cast members were given a taste of their own medicine, as the freaky antics of the show — moving furniture, flickering lights — became a part of their real-life experience while giving an interview. Should we be ashamed that we found glee in watching the adorable child actors cower on couches and scream? Maybe, but it feels good knowing we weren’t the only ones panicking in a corner.
