TV Network Pivot Is Shutting Down

It’s pivoting away.

This is what happens when not enough people hit record. Per Variety, Participant Media is shutting down its cable TV network Pivot. The channel created supposedly millennial-friendly fare like Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s HitRecord, and also aired the likes of Australian dramedy Please Like Me and British thriller Fortitude. After investing more than $200 million in the network, Participant will simply let the channel go dark sometime before the end of 2016 and focus on other projects. Get ready to kiss those Buffy reruns good-bye.
