Thor Was Too Busy Normalizing His Life on Earth to Appear in Captain America: Civil War

For those who were bemoaning the lack of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor in Captain America: Civil War, there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for his absence — he just needed a little “me time.” And by “me time” the Norse god means moving Down Under, living with an “average, everyday” guy named Darryl, meeting up with a bespectacled Bruce Banner for lattes, and creating a complex conspiracy bulletin board that would make Carrie Mathison swoon. This short, funny Taika Waititi–directed mockumentary debuted at San Diego Comic-Con last month, and it premiered online earlier today for everyone else to watch. (Waititi is directing the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok.) We wouldn’t mind retreating to Australia for a little R&R either, Thor.
