Time to start marathoning Alfred Hitchcock Presents to psych yourself up. An anthology series based on the life and work of Alfred Hitchcock is currently in development at Universal Cable Productions, in full collaboration with the Alfred Hitchcock Estate. The series, titled Welcome to Hitchcock, will follow “Hitchcock’s unique brand of storytelling” to “reimagine classic tales from the iconic horror filmmaker” over the course of one season. The NBCUniversal-owned production has yet to announce an episode order or cast, although there are currently plans in place to explore future seasons. So perhaps Hitchcock will make one of his signature cameo appearances, this time as a hologram.
