Andrew W.K. might be busy spreading the good news about partying on his 50-stop Power of Partying speaking tour, but the professional party-person found time in his packed schedule of dancing, drinking, and smiling to release a new song “Party Till We Die.” Though W.K. has always encouraged some reckless jumping up and down and shaking of the extremities with his joyful brand of cheesy metal-punk-pop, this number is his first foray into electronic dance music, according to Pitchfork. While the song, produced by MAKJ and Timmy Turner, is a departure stylistically from his former work, it continues in substance. W.K.’s legacy, which includes such classics as “Party Hard,” “Party Till You Puke,” and “We Party (You Shout),” demands that the listener live every morning, noon, and night like it’s their 21st birthday.
