Old Chicago Cubs broadcaster Harry Caray is now probably best known through Will Ferrell’s SNL impression of him (“If you were a hot dog, would you eat yourself?”). But to Bob Costas he was a real person — and a great broadcaster — who took a young Costas under his wing and, well, said things you could imagine Ferrell saying on SNL. For instance, on what it’s all about: “I’ll tell you what it’s all about, kid. Booze, broads, baseball, and bullsh*t.”
