Put down your Carl’s Jr. Extra-Big-Ass Fries and shamble over to the Alamo Drafthouse for a special tenth-anniversary screening of 2006’s Idiocracy. Much like a glass of Brawndo, Mike Judge’s dystopian satire has got what you crave: a fun-house mirror in which America can see its own demise. Organized by the Alamo Drafthouse, Art House Convergence Theaters, and the League of Women Voters,  Idiocracy will screen at all Alamo Drafthouse and Art House Convergence locations on October 4 at 6:45 p.m., with a special Q&A to follow at the Santa Monica Aero Theatre with Judge and star Maya Rudolph. Idiocracy fans unable to physically attend can submit questions and watch via Facebook Live. It’s certainly no eight-time Academy Award winner like Ass, but the film definitely merits revisiting.
