Though Kid Cudi walked through the valley of shade, throwing out ghost-writing allegations and otherwise ranting against Drake and Kanye on Twitter last week, Yeezus is a forgiving former boss. Yes, Ye was wrathful when he first heard of Kid Cudi’s betrayal and spoke openly about his hurt and rage. “Do you know how many people wish they could be signed to G.O.O.D. music, get their life changed, have an opportunity?” Kanye said to a concert audience last Thursday, “Never forget that! I am so hurt. I feel so disrespected.” However, less than a week later, Ye was ready to sing Cudi’s praises. Preaching from a high floating stage in Houston on Tuesday, Kanye proclaimed the younger rapper “the most influential artist of the past 10 years,” and said, “I just wanted to take time out to say Kid Cudi is my brother and I hope he’s doing well.” See Cudi? He does give a fuck about you. Watch footage from the concert below.
