Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld, and Amy Schumer Among 2016’s Highest Paid Comedians

Forbes released their annual list of the top ten highest paid comedians today, and 2016’s list has a few surprises. Forbes calculated each comedians’ earnings prior to taxes and management fees, with earnings counted from touring, endorsements, paid appearances, TV specials, and DVD sales from June 2015 through June 2016. Thanks to his touring, film, and TV ad appearances, Kevin Hart knocked out Jerry Seinfeld for the #1 spot with a whopping $87.5 million – a huge leap ahead of what Seinfeld earned ($43.5 million). This year’s list also includes newcomers Jim Gaffigan (#7, $12.5 million) and Amy Schumer (#4, $17 million), who is the first woman to ever make the list. Here’s the full rundown:
