The myth that MythBusters is getting a reboot and reality show has thankfully been proven true. Netflix ordered White Rabbit Project, an unscripted original series starring Mythbusters’ producers Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara, Deadline reports. MythBusters debuted in January 2003, and after 14 seasons, aired its final episode on March 5. It was one of Discovery Channel’s most popular series, and received eight Emmy nominations for outstanding reality program. In this new series, the three venture down the rabbit hole to investigate events from pop culture, science and history, and will explore topics such as jailbreaks, superpower technology, heists and even world war two weapons. In each episode, the hosts will also take on experiments and tests, because they will stop at nothing to bust those myths. The show premieres on Netflix December 9.
