Sandra Oh is ABC’s person. She’ll always be its person. After leaving Grey’s Anatomy two years ago, Oh will return to ABC with a guest role on the third season of John Ridley’s anthology series American Crime. The season focuses on labor issues and economic divides in Alamance County, North Carolina, and Oh will play Abby Tanaka, a social worker who “runs a local shelter dedicated to housing victims of domestic abuse in the face of community indifference.” (Is this really where Cristina went after leaving Seattle for Switzerland?) Former American Crime stars Timothy Hutton, Felicity Huffman, Regina King, Lili Taylor, Richard Cabral, and Connor Jessup will all return for the season; a premiere date hasn’t yet been announced.
