Hillary Clinton made headlines over the weekend for saying half of Donald Trump’s supporters fit in what she calls the “basket of deplorables,” so during last night’s Late Night, Seth Meyers took Clinton to task for her comments and reminded her that, much like Jeannie Bueller from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, she’s held to a different standard by the news media and general public and can’t get away with making ridiculous comments like Trump does. “Yeah, Donald Trump called Mexicans rapists and has called you and your supporters a hundred different names, but there is a double standard in play in this election,” Meyers says. “Sure, it’s patently unfair, but you can’t play tit for tat with Donald Trump, because the media’s only gonna talk about your tats and completely ignore his tits.”
