Fox’s Rocky Horror Picture Show remake is light on the lip close-ups, but heavy on the metafictional staging. Instead of offering up the classic credits roll, the first five minutes of the TV special, which were teased on Periscope and Twitter last night, have Ivy Levan acting as an usher into your “Science Fiction Double Feature.” So, the picture show isn’t playing at that one run-down theater at the edge of town at midnight (it’ll go up on your TV at 8 p.m. on October 20), but hey, now you’re not paying for expensive tickets and stale popcorn.
