Chance the Rapper is a man with so many tricks up his sleeve he can go and film an entire movie without anyone knowing. A24 has revealed that Chance will star in Slice, a movie he stealthily filmed in Chicago over the summer that will see a release sometime next year. But alas, it’s not the rom-com of your dreams — you know, the one where Chance is the friend-zoned charmer turned leading man. Not even close: This Austin Vesely–directed film (he also made Chance’s “Angels” video) takes place in a mysterious city and “centers on an enigmatic outlaw framed for a killing spree that targets unsuspecting pizza delivery boys.” None of which means we can’t still swoon over Chance! As seen in this very tiny slice of Slice, he’s giving serious James Dean-on-a-motorcycle vibes. At long last, meet Chance the Actor.
